Mr. Petersen has worked on and been responsible for all phases of developing a project from concept design through completed construction documents. Various aspects of those phases have included: permits, energy calculations, preparing specifications, shop drawing review, presentation drawings, renderings, models, construction supervision and field inspections, bidding, contracts, scheduling and subcontractor coordination. Design Plus also recently completed the Minnesota GreenStar training program bringing additional green and sustainable design expertise to his service offerings.
In his career development much of this experience was gained while employed by other architectural and engineering firms. He is proud of that work, the expertise and tools gained and would gladly differentiate any project experience that he was involved with, or referenced in this website, while employed at those firms.
